1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions apply to all apps developed by JAVIER DE JESUS ROCHA AHUMADA, hereinafter referred to as “we”, “us”, or “our”, including but not limited to: Montreal Parking Identifier, Otto: Canadian Product Identifier, Soccer GOAT, and Caption AI ("the Apps"). By using any of our Apps, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the Apps.
2. Purpose of the Apps
Each App serves a unique purpose—from helping users analyze parking signs to generating captions or identifying Canadian-made products. However, all results, analyses, or recommendations provided are for informational purposes only and may contain errors. Users must use their own judgment when acting upon any content provided by the Apps.
3. No Guarantee of Accuracy
While our goal is to provide helpful, intelligent assistance, the Apps rely on data sources and algorithms that may be imperfect. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or legality of any verdict, location-based suggestion, caption, business data, or product information. You are solely responsible for any decisions made using the Apps, including but not limited to parking, product purchases, business interactions, or communications.
4. Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances will we be liable for any loss, damage, ticket, fine, vehicle towing, theft, personal harm, or other consequences resulting from your use or inability to use the Apps. This includes actions taken based on AI-generated results or guidance.
5. Test Mode Disclaimer
Certain features may simulate test scenarios (e.g. using a fixed location). These modes are for demonstration purposes only and should not be relied upon for real-world decisions.
6. Data and Privacy
We strive to minimize data collection. Some Apps may require camera access, location services, or internet connectivity to function. We do not link any location or photo data to personally identifiable information unless explicitly stated. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.
7. Third-Party Services
The Apps may integrate APIs and platforms such as OpenAI, Open Food Facts, or mapping/location providers. We are not responsible for the data handling practices of these services and recommend users review their respective terms and privacy policies.
8. Intellectual Property
All content created within the Apps (e.g., UI design, logic, and layout) is the intellectual property of JAVIER DE JESUS ROCHA AHUMADA unless stated otherwise. We do not claim ownership over third-party content or user-generated content.
9. User Conduct
Users agree not to misuse the Apps, including reverse engineering, scraping, spamming, or attempting to mislead the AI or app functionality. Misuse will result in termination of access and/or possible legal action.
10. Updates and Changes
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes via app updates or official channels. Continued use of any App constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
